"Nice area, "
"Extremely friendly and helpful staff, personal buttler (Ms. Thao) is sensational, had taken care us very well during our staying, very good food (a la card) provided from restaurant, great view and calm atmosphere evrywhere in the resort. We will definitely come back next time."
"Very scenic and beautiful remote getaway spot. Personal concierge service was top notch and great overall experience. Some of the seafood dishes at dinner were spectacular!"
"Excellent staff"
"This was three nights in paradise. We had a villa with a private pool, but also enjoyed the beach and common pool. We went on two guided hikes - both challenging and worth it with many opportunities for photos. We also enjoyed learning how to make Vietnamese coffee, the movie night on the beach, and kayaking. Staff was very helpful, and we loved our butler. Finally, the food and drinks were excellent. We will return."
"Private "
"My wife and Ijust finished a two night stay at L'Alya. The facilities are lovely and the staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there. The location is in a beautiful and relaxing natural area, and the views are just gorgeous. I'm a birdwatcher, so I really enjoyed seeing birds there like Kingfishers, laughingthrushes, bee-eaters, and more. The best part of L'Alya is the dining facility, which offers both Vietnamese and Western food options. The kitchen is run by an excellent chef, and all of our meals there were consistently delicious. We can't recommend L'Alya enough to everyone out there."
"It's a lovely quiet place. Staff were very polite and courteous. Staff was very good in attending to responding to email enquiries. Food was ok, some were very good, some below average, depending on what you pick. Would have loved to see more authentic Vietnamese food, rather than Italian etc. Breakfast was great with fresh juices and egg stations. The complimentary afternoon tea delivered by the butler was a very good touch, some of the afternoon treats were exceptionally good. The cooking classes that we had with the chef was very good. My husband remarked that the cabbage dumplings and the caramel chicken were superb, and tasted very authentic, however these were not served on guests lunch/dinner menu. The Italian menu was nothing to write home about, given we are from Europe, however when sauces used local herbs like in pesto sauce it was a delight. The spa has some room for improvement on massage quality. I had a deep tissue massage, but it just felt like my skin was being massaged. My husband went back a second time, said it was bit better as the pressure improved. The view of the place was stunning, staff did try their best to be attentive. The mosquitoes were a problem for me. Was wondering whether some mosquitoes screens across the open air bathrooms, living room. would improve the place. TV amenities could be improved as well, the volume was very low, showed a variety of movies but all with Vietnamese subtitles. Most places would have Netflix etc on TV. "

"L’alya is truly a hidden gem in an ever growing upscale market in Vietnam. Sometimes overlooked by her flashier and ultra luxe neighbors, L’alya comfortably stands on her own. I’ll break down my review based on areas of interest: Grounds, Facilities & Setting -One of the best parts of L’alya is her setting. Part tropical beach resort, part ‘mountain retreat’- it’s truly the first time I’ve ever been able to see palm trees swaying at the same time I was listening to the breeze through the pine trees. I’ve stayed at all of the Ninh Van resorts and I’d rate L’alya’s beach as the best on the ‘island’. Also, the pool is an absolute stunner. Villas -I stayed in a Lagoon View Villa which is what I would suggest if you want to feel like you’re a million miles away from it all (in the best of ways). Everything in the Villa was designed well, noticeable quality and authentic to its location. The bathroom was stunning. Outside, there was a beautiful private pool, an outdoor living room and sun loungers- all looking out over the lagoon to the ocean. Service -With just 33 villas, service is where they really show what they’re made of. Every Villa is looked after by a “Butler” who coordinates anything and everything for you at the resort. Quyên, my butler was a star who I could not say enough good things about. I also cannot speak of service without mentioning Hưng the restaurant manager and his team of genuinely warm servers. I really cannot say enough good things about L’alya."
