"This is a very fancy hotel, and the geography is beautiful. The staff is solid, but they cater to the owners of the villas located on site…not the hotel guests. There was also loud music until late at night two nights we were there, once until 4:00am. "

"This hotel has a beautiful view but was infested with bugs including lizards. The hotel staff had to call Orkin out to spray the room. The bugs were on the bed, in the bathroom and crawling on the walls. There are no t.v. in the rooms so if you love watchin t.v. to pass the time or relax this is not the hotel for you. I read the reviews on this website however, there were not many. This is an open tropical theme hotel and resort, which mean a lot of bugs and limited air condition. The staff was very nice but, could only do so much to ratify the situation. The day my husband and I arrived at the hotel we wanted to go home."

"This is a beautiful property. The pool and beach areas are well maintained and the landscaping is gorgeous. The room we had in the pineapple house was well appointed. The amenities were very nice. I was unfortunately disappointed by the service. Our driver from the airport took a detour in route to run an errand, which was alarming. Most of the dining staff seemed unconcerned with serving us, the only exception being Kenneth in the main dining area, who was wonderful. The beach bartender was downright rude. I was also disappointed by the food quality. It was expensive, but just not very good. I also should mention the resort is very family friendly, which some may not mind, but there were lots of small children and it’s not my preference when I’m on this sort of trip. There is some sort of bar across the water from the property with loud music, which kept us up til after midnight our final night, which was also not great. Overall, I would not recommend and would not stay again."
